Democratic League of Kosovo MP Hykmete Bajrami has reacted to Finance Minister Iron Murati, saying that during the government's mandate, wages have increased for the government cabinet 50 per cent and 6.8 euros at the end of the mandate for the public sector.
Through a text on her Facebook account, she said that anyone who talks about figures in the economy, and ignores inflation, lies.
The average price hikes during this mandate are 22%, but the products we need for consumption per day have been rising by over 50%.
For a lot of things Government can manipulate with statistics, but there are some things that no one can fool with, for example, for prices and wages, because every citizen knows how much he gets paid and also knows what he can buy with that salary today.
In the end, Bajrami said:
But I repeat, the Kurti Government has increased wages for the prime minister, ministers, deputy ministers, political advisers, assistants and drivers for nothing less than 50%, of course it has had an impact on the KSF's” data.
