National opposition protest has begun, warned several days ago.
According to the opposition scenario, the protest is expected to be without speeches, while a part is gathered at DP headquarters.
At the start of the protest some protesters have set a rubber on fire in front of the presidency's door, on “Nation witnesses”, reports TopChanel.
It was Ervin Salianj's one-year prison sentence that prompted the opposition to launch a wave of protests and boycott of the Assembly commissions.
The last two sessions in the Assembly were accompanied by severe tensions and clashes. After Chief Parliamentary Elisa Spiropali announced the removal of Salianj's mandate, opposition MPs blocked the speaker, destroyed him and threw items in its direction.
Then they took up their chairs and burned them outside the Parliament, while there was debate until physical confrontation.
The opposition has also decided to boycott all commissions.
The Supreme Court has scheduled October 15th, 2:00 p.m. for reviewing former Gen Ervin Saliannji's request to suspend the execution of the prison sentence.
