Changes the academic life of Tahir Emra

With deep grief, we announce that today, October 7, 2024, at the age of 86, the prominent painter, among the most prominent of Albanian art, academic Tahir Emra” was passed away in the ASHAK report.

Emra was born in Gjakova in 1938. He performed his elementary school in his native country, and his high art in 1959 in Pec.

In 1959-1961 the design teacher worked in his native country, then studied at the Belgrade Academy of Figure Arts. Diplomo, for painting in 1966, was selected as a legalist and then a professor at Pristina's Pristina Pedagogical High School at the branch of intelligent arts. The magistrate in 1970 and 1974 was selected docent for drawing and painting at the newly founded Academy of Arts at the University of Pristina and in 1982 ordinarian professor. By 2000 he was elected a member of the A. SKU, regular course from 2008.

He has opened several independent exhibitions and participated in collective exhibitions both at home and abroad. His works are found in many world museums, institutions, and private collections.

In 2013 A SHAK published the monograph of painter Tahir Emra with the reproductions of best-known works and the artist Metom Buza's study.

The upcoming honorary meeting of Emma will be held on Tuesday, October 8th in A SHORT at 11: 00 p.m. and then, by 12:30 p.m., there's a homazhe.

And between 1500 and 4: 00 p.m., there will be homazhes at the cemeteries of the city of Gjakova.

The burial of the deceased will take place on 8 October 2024, at the cemetery in the town of Gjakova.
