New AAK leader in Istog instead of Beke Berisha, Haradinaj nominated even for mayor

AAK head Ramush Haradinaj has announced that they have held today the party branch's convention in Istog, where they have even elected head of the branch, Uke Blakajn.

Blakaj has replaced MP Beka Berisha in this position, and at the same time has also been nominated as the mayor of the municipality for the upcoming local elections.

Haradinaj in the report has said that after the February 9th elections with the AAK in Government, Istog will become the starting point of the Dukagjin Highway.

The result of this assembly is the election of the new president of the Istog branch, Mr. Uke Blakaj, a successful businessman from the diaspora. Beka Berisha, currently deputy who his commitment to the country, will continue from other party and parliamentary positions, carried out this task to date.

Our commitment to bringing new experience and energy to our ranks is continuous. Uke Blakaaj has also been nominated as the candidate for mayor of the Istog municipality and has received approval to compete for seats in the Kosovo Assembly.

After February 9th, with the Alliance in government, Istog will be transformed into the starting point of the Dukagjin Highway, a magnificent project that will link with Prizren. This will open new growth opportunities for the entire region.
