181 rockets launched from Iran towards Israel, Ambassador Ziv says

Israel's ambassador to Kosovo, Tammy Ziv, has reacted following Iran's reported attacks on Israel.

Ziv said Iran has launched 181 missiles towards Israel.

It's like... 181 rockets have been launched in our direction”, Ziv said.

World leaders called on Iran and Israel to withdraw from the escalation of the situation after Tehran launched a series of rockets against Israel.

Tehran said this attack that took place at a time when Israel had announced a ground offensive against Hezbollah's militant group and political party that controls the southern majority of Lebanon was a response to the murders of the Iranian-backed militants leaders.

This was the second time Iran directly attacks Israel after a missile attack and fears in April, as revenge for a deadly Israeli air strike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.

After the attack, Israel and Iran threatened each other, while different world leaders called for a ceasefire amid fears of an expanded conflict in the Middle East.
