Xhavit Haliti fines 1,000 euros for assault on LDK deputy Arben Gashi

The Constitutional Court in Pristina has declared a condemnation of PDK deputy Xhavit Haliti for physical assault on LDK deputy Arben Gashi, condemning him with a thousand-euro fine.

The Act on Halit was proclaimed Monday by Judge Driton Berisha, reports “Justice Vowift”

Under the trial, Haliti is obliged to pay the 1,000-euro fine in terms of 15 days after the full might of this decision.

The indictment also states that if the same does not wish or cannot pay the penalty by fine, the court will replace the penalty with a prison sentence by counting one day on a 20-euro fine.

Haliti is obliged to pay the 60-euro sum on behalf of the judicial patriarch and on behalf of the Fund's compensation for the 20-euro victim.

Also, Judge Berisha made it known that the details of Halit's sentence will be put to account for the trial.

However, this case was previously tried by Sultan Hoti Judge, but after passing it to the Randa Crime Department, it is now tried by Judge Driton Berisha.

For Dresaj, Judge Berisha said he has accepted the order and has applied for return to the previous situation to reach the deadline for opposition, but based on the subject's paperwork, there is no decision on that request by Judge Hoti.

Otherwise, according to the indictment filed in May 2019 by Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor, accused Xhavit Haliti on May 18th 2018 at the Kosovo Assembly in Pristina has deliberately attacked MP- now injured Arben Gashi, pushing him with arms and elbow in the chest.

With that, Haliti is accused of committing criminal work “The” attack by Article 187, par.1 of the Penal Code, the act punishable by fine or prison for up to three years.
