On January 22nd, in Skopje, under the organisation of the Government of the Republic of Northern Macedonia will be held the meeting of Western Balkan leaders, dedicated to the Western Balkans Growth Plan adopted by the European Commission.

Republika Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti will also attend this meeting.

The host of the meeting Monday 22 January will be North Macedonia Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski, while the turnout has warned: Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq, Prime Ministers of Albania Edi Rama, Montenegro's Milojko Spajzic and Minister of Finance and Treasury at the BiH Council of Ministers Srdjan Amidzic, reports the Northern Macedonia Government.

The European Commission Director General for Business and Enlargement Negotiations, Gert Jan Kopman and Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien will participate.

Northern Macedonia's Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs Bojan Maric and Finance Minister Fatmir Besimi will also attend, as will their colleagues from Western Balkan countries.

Regional organisations, Regional Co-operation Council (RCC), CEFTA and the United States Six-Probable Oday Investment Forum, as well as international financial institutions, participate in the Western Balkans Growth Plan meeting in Skopje.

In November last year, the European Commission introduced a new growth plan for the Western Balkans, which includes six billion euros in grants and loans to accelerate socio-economic convergence with the European Union.
