VV reacts after publishing the Transitionship Internation for Corruption Report

Today, Tracy International has published the report on the corruption perception index. According to this report, Kosovo and Serbia are the only two countries in the region that have not seen progress during 2023, while improvements have been made in northern Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Looking at the publication of this report, Movement [...]
Looking at the publication of this report, the Vetevendosje Movement has come up with a response to its official profile, trying to reason on the impasse over fighting corruption.
For this, Vetevendosje has had to return the overused argument, the February 14th 2021 victory, as a moment when “has cut the past of thinking and corrupting action in governance”.
February 2021 is the moment of a clear point with the past thinking and corrupt action in government. The new governance has proved that the Republic of Kosovo could be guided without corruption and that phenomenon could be fought”, said in response.
In addition, Vetevendosje has added as two other arguments, saying the Kurti Government has initiated two processes for the uncompetitive war on crime and corruption as the Bureau for Confiscating Unjustible Riches and Vetting, though none have yet been finalised.
In the end, the ruling party has proved to argue with the ranking of Kosovo on Transparency International's list, saying there are improvements for 21 countries, though the movement is only 5 points in all these years of governance. In 2020, there were 36 points, 2021 has gone to 39, 2022 plus two, and 2023 has scored to 41 points.
The Vetevendosje movement, although it has invited Kosovars to get a little bit of an imagination of where Kosovo will be as a state when Vettingu and the Bureau are completed, has proved to give direction to both the imagination of citizens, saying Kosovo will be the best “ ”.
Two very important processes have been recorded by the Kurti Government in the direction of the uncompetitive fight of crime and corruption, the Bureau for Confiscating Unjustified Riches and Vettingu. With these processes, the justice system would be re-registered and crime and corruption fought even more, just as we rightly ask and rightly expect. In these three years of governance, Kosovo has advanced for 21 countries in fighting these bad phenomena, but imagine where we will be as a state after activating the Bureau and the Vetting process. Much better”, in response. /GazetaExpress
