Ugljanin: Resigns Needed for Attic's Download in Northern Mitrovica Reached

The head of the Municipal Assembly in northern Mitrovica, Nexhat Ugljanin, says the Serbian initiative group has reached the right number for the surrender of the petition for the dismissal of North Mitrovica Chairman Erden Attic.

He says Serbian citizens today have signed the group-group petition, where over 4 thousand signatures have been collected.

“have reached the right number according to the information we have from the field and tomorrow they will collect by afternoon and will certainly hand in the mass in northern Mitrovica first, but also in Leposaviq the petition. According to information, it was organised yesterday yesterday, but now through the criticism we have given through the media that has been forced and threatened institutionally to petition. Today, they have changed the way they did and they have been taken into certain groups 3 to 4 person”, he said in Tv1.

He said the number of signatures has reached 4 grand and that tomorrow he is expected to submit the petition to the Municipal Assembly.

The initiative group has 30 days to collect the physical signatures. The deadline can only be extended once in 15 days.

The signatures are then handed over to the mayor of the municipal assembly and the CEC. After that, the institution of elections verify the signatures, and if they are not as much as 20 percent of voters are required, the motion initiatives have a 10-day deadline to meet that quota.
