Two young people from Kosovo died last week in an accident in Hungary.
The victims of this accident are Prussion Hoxha and Jetmir Rexhepi.
Days ago, their family members announced that as a result of the Hungarian state procedures, it was impossible to withdraw troops for mortar ceremonies.
In this regard they are engaged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora.
Leutrim Sahiti, political adviser to Minister Donika Grovalla- Schwarz said that the return of their troops to Kosovo takes place today.
Today, with the date 10,01,2024, family members have withdrawn their family bodies and today they return to Kosovo. We have also requested from Hungarian authorities that as soon as procedures are carried out, and yesterday, on the 09.01.2024 date, there has been an objection”, Sahiti told Klakosova.tv.
He stressed that MPJD has also helped victims' families to complete the documentation, and that troops be transported to their homeland.
“After the accident, Hungarian authorities have carried out the official procedures that must be followed, including the report of the road accident and that of legal medicine, obscision procedures (autopsis) and ID”, he said.
Sahiti stressed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has been constantly co-ordinating with Hungarian authorities, as well as with victims' families.
