“Tomorrow at 9:00 starts petition for the dismissal of Aticti”

The signing of the citizen petition for the dismissal of North Mitrovica Mayor Erden Attic will begin tomorrow at 09:00 hours, Sanja Lazarevich Krinniq, member of the group that has initiated the procedure.

“On behalf of the initial group for the dismissal of the North Mitrovica municipality chairman, I am informing the citizens that we have finally received all necessary documents and that tomorrow we will start collecting signatures for the dismissal of Chairman”, she has told RTS.

It invited all citizens from tomorrow to come and support the initiative for Erden Attic's departure, saying he has no legitimacy to lead a municipality where Serbs make up the majority of the population and have made decisions against the interests of Serbs and all citizens of Mitrovica”.

I expect citizens to respond because I believe no one supports our city's leadership in this way and causing tensions”, said Krinniq.

The petition will be signed in the sports hall in northern Mitrovica.
