Only tomatoes, Kosovo imported a total of 11.9m euros

Kosovo continues to import considerable amounts of trees and vegetables, for cultivation of which subsidies and grants are provided.

The tomatoes are the ones that are imported to a greater extent, compared to other products.

According to data published by the GAP Institute, only during 2023 Kosovo has imported tomatoes worth 11.9m euros.

And after tomatoes, there are potatoes that were imported for 6.3m euros during 2023. The most imported product of 5.6m euros is behind them.

Meanwhile, 4.8m euros have been imported onion, 3.4m grapes and 2.1m euros.

Kosovo has also imported 748 thousand euros in 2023, cherry 200 thousand euros, garlic 83,000 euros, and strawberries 47 thousand euros.
