Kosovo's telecom has awarded a 15m-euro tender to the company from Croatia “Ericsson Nikola Tesla d.d”.
The announced announcement reportedly has to do with buying additional (SB) base stations to modernise the radio network for locations currently covered by SBs, which are End-of-Life and End-of-Support.
The “being out of support from the manufacturer as well as outside the vital technological cycle, these devices cannot be brought up and can't be used with. Mobile services offered by these devices are at risk unless their honour is done as soon as possible, says Front Online.
Further in the report, the contract between Kosovo Telekom and the company from Croatia will reportedly come on January 15th this year.
