Syla: Willing to protect every corner in case of an attack

Deputy Defence Minister Shemsi Syla in an interview for Online Economy said that for years Serbian military forces have been deployed near the border with Kosovo with the aim of destabilising the situation. According to him, the deployment of 48 bases of Serbia's three most important brigades poses a threat to Kosovo's sovereignty, and at the same time it is even broader regional and global risks.

Syla added that they are constantly co-ordinating with KFOR, which, if they need assistance, the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), will be willing under the Constitution to protect every corner of Kosovo in the event it is attacked by the outside army.

“We are in permanent co-operation with KFOR, we are in its favour, whenever KFOR needs our forces to be aid we will be ready.
