Serbian BIA denies claims Sandulovic was beaten by

The Serbian newspaper Danas writes that BIA has announced in the communique that they have taken action aimed at clarifying Sandulovic's backward legal activity, which the competent prosecutor qualified as a criminal offence for inciting hatred and racial, religious and national failure, according to Article 317 of the Serbian penal code.
It is also highlighted in their communiqué that with the alleged and false publication for non-legal work by BIA members, Sandulovic and promoters of the independence of so-called Kosovo, want to disinform and disturb the local and foreign public, tarnish BIA's reputation and exacerbate security circumstances in Serbia, the Metro newspaper broadcasts
Nikola Sandulovic, a foreign politician in Serbia during his visit to Kosovo, had placed flowers in honour and commemoration of the Jashari family in Prekaz, victims of the Milosevic Serb regime.
After returning to Serbia, he was arrested and brutally beaten according to reports exactly by Serbian service agents. Reports and published images were disturbing to the Serbian and foreign public.
Reactions in his case were also made by the European Union and the United Kingdom, which have asked the Serbian state to clarify the circumstances.
