Democratic League of Kosovo MP Avdullah Hoti has reacted today after the Kosovo government allocated 11m euros in terms of the energy crisis, allegedly covering payment for vulnerable families.
Hoti, in a Facebook post, writes that the government rather than take measures to prevent increased electricity bills for households, as it did in December, when the bills went too high for many families, the government allocates 11m euros for households to ease the socio-economic impact of the energy crisis.
This is not politics. These tools don't stay with families. With this action, money is transferred from state budget to KEDS and other businesses through families.
Lowering the price of electricity would be the right action in this case, as the price of energy in international markets has dropped markedly compared to last year”, he writes.
