Scandalous: Kurti adviser says Talat Xhaferi is not Albanian prime minister

Bekim Qoku, adviser to Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, has said that North Macedonia's newly elected prime minister, Talat Xhaferi, former commander of the National Liberation Army (UÇK), “is not Albanian”, since according to him, he would initially have to pay tribute to the cemetery of martyrs fallen in the 2001 conflict. “Talat Xhaferi, as technical prime minister, [...]
“Talat Xhaferi, as technical prime minister, would be called Albanian, as if at least as the prime minister's first gesture, to pay tribute to the cemetery of the martyrs fallen in the 2001 conflict, where he would express gratitude and respect, because without their sacrifice, without their shed blood, this symbolic achievement would not be possible”, Qoku wrote on Facebook.
Otherwise, the deputies of the North Macedonian Parliament voted for the technical government, which will be headed for the first time by an Albanian -- former National Liberation Army commander (UÇK), Talat Xhaferi, who for the time also led the Macedonian legislature -- has been introduced into modern history as the first Albanian to lead with the most important post in this state.
He was elected prime minister by 65 votes, only 3 against and no abstention from a total of 68 deputies present in the hall a historic moment reflecting Albanians' contribution to building the citizenship of Northern Macedonia. VMRO MPs- The DPMNE did not participate in the vote. Also, the Albanian opposition did not participate in the vote.
The first Albanian prime minister in northern Macedonia declared Sunday during the session that he will preserve and advance the Euro-Atlantic course of Northern Macedonia, where, among the priorities of technical governance, the co-operation between the European Union (BE), the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) and the United States of America (SHBA) will remain.
“Taking into account that this government is continuing to pre-government, me and the government it will lead will continue applying past policies. The government's work will be applied in the principle of full respect of laws, preparing free elections and parliamentary rights”, Xhaferi underlined at the introduction of the technical governance exhibition.
“Advancing North Macedonia's ties with the EU, NATO and the US alliance, including full implementation of principles and decisions of key agreements for interethnic relations, cohesion and internal stability towards successful Euro-Atlantic integration, will be priorities of technical governance”, Xhafer added.
Xhaferi in the prime minister post replaces Social Democratic League leader (LSDM), Dimitar Kovacevski, who has resigned from the direction of the Northern Macedonia Government, based on the election law, which envisions that 100 days before the parliamentary elections be appointed a technical government that will take care of organising and maintaining elections.
