Alsu Kurmasheva receives letters to prison from family, friends, colleagues and foreigners but, sometimes, weeks pass before those go to her cell where she is being held in custody in the Russian city of Kazan.
On January 13th, Radio Free Europe's journalist wrote that she has accepted a large package of cards, following a long reception in the winter vacation period.
