Pristina Chairman Progress Rama has announced that in the last ten days of December, Pristina has had numerous visitors.
Through a Facebook note he has said a large part of them have joined the holidays that are organised in the capital.
“Mbi 130 thousand citizens, many of them visitors from different countries, for the last 10 days of December 2023, became part of the holidays in Pristina”.
The capital's first one says this turnout shows Pristina is special.
Our “Chiefs, different roads and neighborhoods are filled with citizens as never before. Conversations with each other associated with coffee, tea, or warm wine under the magic sound of our miraculously interpreted songs by our artists showed us once again how special, the warm vibrrant our capital is”.
But he said green spaces would be added further this year.
In Pristina, this year in public spaces, citizens' spaces, we will continue with the intervention in greening, creating children's angles, adding public lighting, and fixing some of them with cobblestone”.
And we're going to organise super festivals, concerts, games and many other things, to bring special moments to all of us, because we have projects that we're going to give public spaces to citizens”, and Rama added further, saying that “Pristina belongs to citizens”
Otherwise, Pristina citizens have staged protests, which are expected to be held on January 14th on the “George Bush” road, now back to the square, with the requirement for opening this road into the centre of the capital.
Even the Council for Protection of Human Rights and Freedoms (KMDLNJ) through a communiqué to the media says they support the opening of the “George Bush” road.
KMDLNJ says traffic has turned into chaos for drivers and travellers.
