Rama establishes ministry for Public Administration and Anti-corruption, finds out who will be in charge

Rama Posting

In this new phase of development of the country, and in conditions where Albania is working on the negotiating chapters for membership with the European Union, once it has successfully taken its first step to promote employees, it requires a new approach to public administration, to increase in terms of competitive wages and the quality of our human resources, addressing all the links of its functioning process, from recruiting to promoting employees; by reviewing with a more demanding and more informed eye the organisation of institutions, the structures of their functions, the work processes of their interaction; by creating better and sustainable conditions for the training of our civil service and our ranks...

It is also good for government anticorruption policies to be better harmonised between executive institutions, with the excesses of the challenging negotiation process with the EU for all the country's institutions, as well as civil society and entrepreneurship itself. To promote this new approach and address the challenges above, I will submit to the president of the Republic the proposal for approval of another new member of the government cabinet, as Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-corruption. Mrs. Adea Pirdeni, who has performed the last three years' role as justice minister and has stood out with leadership and professionalism in the role of deputy negotiator with the European Union, as well as in the coverage of the grand chapter of the Constitutional Law and Rights.
