Railway expected to connect Albania with Kosovo will cost Edi Rama government 700 million

Construction of the new Albania railway line -- Kosovo, where an important part of it will pass from Shkodra -- is expected to turn this city into an important regional centre, economic and touristly.
To discuss closely the details of this major investment in Shkodra municipality, a meeting was held between representatives of the two states, Bennett Beci, Shkodra Mayor and Libran Aliu, minister of Infrastructure in Kosovo.

Lieburn Aliu, says this railway line will directly affect the two countries' economy, so investment is a priority from the two governments.

The Albania Railways Kosovo is estimated to have a cost of 700m euros, while passing this line from Shkodra has been one of the topics agreed on by the two governments of Albania and Kosovo.

This axis is expected to pass from the Drini Valley, adding to the country's assets and tourism capacity in the north. /topchannel
