The race has said that for those three days, 212 flights have been realised, with an average of about 70 flights a day.
Between January 1st and January 3rd, some 31 thousand round-the-clock travelers have passed. If we compare the same period to the first three days of 2023, we have somewhere more than 10,000 travelers than last year, but this is a trend that has been constantly at Pristina International Airport, given that each year we have had increased travel numbers both on the way and on the return of”, Gara said.
For those three days, an average a day has been somewhere around 70 flights a day, while in three days there are a total of 212 flights that have been accomplished. We expect an increase in the number of flights, and so do three new destinations that have been added to Pristina Airport for 2024, but they have not yet begun”, Gara said, while acknowledging that visa liberalisation has also affected the number of travelers.
Even visa liberalisation has contributed to this increase in the number of travelers, but we need to remember that we are now in the period when the winter season point, we are in the post-party period where many fellow countrymen who celebrate in their families come, so it is early to come up with such an assessment that visa liberalisation has affected this growth trend”, she said.
The race has named it successful in 2023 for Pristina Airport, as they spent over 3.4 million passengers last year.
