Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, together with his ministers today, received the credit for visa liberalisation, even though the criteria had long since been met and past governments contributed, writes Periscope.
Through a post in his Facebook account, Kurti said we didn't promise “, but we made it”
His full post:
We didn't promise, but we did. Visa liberalisation lived today.
We'll be closer to each other, even with our diaspora, to share the most important moments in our lives.
We will no longer be deprived of opportunities presented in art, education, sports, culture and other fields. The passport of our Republic is also being strengthened as a strengthening of our identity and dignity as a state in the international arena.
To mark this important achievement, together with the deputy prime minister, at once Foreign Affairs and Diaspore Minister Donika Grovalla-Schwarz, took the first visa-free flight from Pristina to the beautiful town of Vienna. There are a total of 50 citizens who won this opportunity under our information campaign.
And this hard - earned right should be enjoyed with responsibility. We respect the requirements and criteria because we thereby respect and exalt the state.
Wherever we travel, let us remember and never forget that our home is Kosovo.
