IPK announcement:
Kosovo Police Inspectorate investigators have launched an investigation following the publication of new videos in media, on which officials of the Leposavic municipality have allegedly consumed narcotics within the municipality's object.
The IPK investigation has begun based on allegations that these already published images may also include a police official as suspects.
The IPK has already interviewed a police officer at the Leposaviq Police Station with the suspicion that the same was committed in criminal work “The unauthorized possession of narcotics, psychotrope or analogue”.
Under the investigation and other acts of administrative nature, the IPK has recommended to the Kosovo Police the extent of the suspension of the alleged police official in this case.
IPK officials in the framework of legal authorisations and full co-ordination with the State Prosecutor will continue to take further investigative action towards full enlightenment of all the circumstances associated with the case.
