Police officers who hit a infantry in Obilic are arrested and suspended from work

Pristina, January 23, 2024,
Kosovo Police Inspectorate investigators yesterday in the evening have accepted information from Kosovo police about a more serious car injury accident between a vehicle and an infantry, including a police official (left of official private car duty).
IPK investigators to accept the information have begun to take initial investigative actions in co-ordination with the supervisor.
According to initial investigations, the accident was reported to have occurred yesterday (at 22,01.24) around 500 on the “Hasan Pristina” in Obilic, and it is suspected that the driver of the vehicle hit the footman who had been crossing the street at the time.
After the accident, the driver has sent for medical treatment injured at the Family Medicine Centre in Obilic, and then from the medical staff, the same has been sent for treatment at KKUK Pristina.
Following investigative actions, allegedly committed criminal work “The threat of public trafficking” by the IPK has been arrested by the suspect (police official) against whom the prosecutor has issued a 48-hour ban ruling.
As part of the administrative investigative procedure, the police official has been suspended.
Other actions will be taken in line with IPK legal authorisations and co-ordination with the competent prosecutor.
