Police detail how it came to the Merdare incident, where three people attacked police officers.

A video showing some people punching police officials at the Merdare border crossing has become viral. Details of how it came to this incident have given Kosovo Police through a 24-hour report.

According to the report, the police units had been detained from two cars that had crossed the column while waiting to cross the border. Following the police intervention, for preventing overcoming and calling for return to the column, it is said the three suspects have not implemented official guidelines and have attacked police officials.

The suspects have been arrested until it becomes aware that two are citizens of Kosovo and one of Albania.
