One person stabbed 11 passersby in Istanbul(VIDEO)

At least eleven people, including a young girl, have been rushed to the hospital after a man stabbed them on Turkey's Istanbul streets.

Reports from the Turkish city say the author has been identified, but his identity has not been made public, Kdankosova.tv conveys.

Victims were sent for treatment at Turkey's State Hospital, ”Esenyurt Necmi Cadınoğlu” nearby. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

One of the victims, Mehmet normally, claimed that the knife killer launched his violent Monday morning attack and continued until at least noon when he was targeted.

He said: “He started beating me in the morning, but he stabbed me at noon. The number of people he hit is not clear”.

Local broadcaster Medyan Elli Tonu said on X that “in Esenyurt, Istanbul, a person went off the road and stabbed anyone who encountered”.

“While the eight were taken to the hospital, police launched operation to apprehend the attacker”.

The images of CCTV that circulated in the social media allegedly caught the moment the killer stabbed into a building just to be pushed out within seconds while carrying what seemed to be a weapon in his hand.
