Two people have suffered injuries, and several vehicles have been damaged.
According to the first information, individuals so far unknown have been throwing hand grenades near the motel “Bisevac” north of Mitrovica, while the motive for this incident is unknown.
A person has suffered severe bodily injuries from the explosion. That's what Warden Bojan Vucinic said.
“Over the night a person has been admitted with multiple injuries caused by explosive tool, his condition is being monitored, no indicators for performing emergency surgery will be conducted. An injured man has been admitted, who has been injured by an explosive vehicle, about midnight”, said the doctor Vucinic.
The Kosovo Police have also declared the case.
“Around 23:50 was allegedly detonated by a hand grenade at the Bisevac Hotel, Knjaz Milos Street in northern Mitrovica, where about 4-5 cars and two people were injured as a result of the blast. One of them has the most serious injuries and the police are in hospital”, confirmed v. Kosovo Police Director for the North Region Veton Elshani.
EULEX, KFOR have been seen in place of police.
