Northern Macedonia President Stevo Pendarovski handed the mandate for forming the new government for organising the elections to Talat Xhaferi. The new government is expected to be voted in Sunday, 100 days before election day.
Xhaferi said that as prime minister, he will continue working “with dedication and honesty”.
With particular pride and honor I accepted Mandatin for forming the government. Even from the prime minister's position, I will continue to work with dedication, responsibility and transparency, always taking into account the welfare, progress and benefits of citizens and state”.
Meanwhile, the North Macedonia Assembly elected the new chief coach, Jovan Mitreski.
Parties will use the remaining time until Sunday to resolve the clashes, about what VMRO- The DPMNE does not want to vote on the government headed by Xhaferi, while the LSDM says that “has no case in the world when a party participating in the government and does not vote on it”.
