Former Ambassador Lulzim Peci has written about reports that a mosque in Pristina has organised children's programme, how parents to avoid celebrating the new year.
Peci writes:
The taxpayers of the fundamentalist Isami who go as far as to teach children against celebrating the new year, are making calls for theocracy and “education” of new generations against the constitutional order of our country!
What worries me even more is how parents of these children allow them to participate in something like that!
Fighting Kosovo's secular constitutional character by Islamic fundamentalists is not more dangerous than Seby's fight against our country, because the first, except for the state of Kosovo, are also hating the foundations of the secular character of Albanian identity, which guarantees inter-religious harmony!
State and politics don't silence themselves before these dangers!
