Osmani for Ibrahim Rugova: It cost every day of its life the freedom and independence of the country

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, along with Prime Minister Kurti, has been homazhe at former President Ibrahim Rugova's grave.

Osmani has said Rugova, in a difficult time, managed to build alliances, which Kosovo needs today.

She said they will move towards the full realisation of Rugova's vision of independent, sovereign, integrated into the EU and NATO and in permanent friendship with the US.

“Today we commemorate the historic president of the Republic of Kosovo, President Ibrahim Rugova, the founding father and architect of our country's independence, the man who devoted every day of his life to the freedom and independence of the country and worked primarily with the people of Kosovo and in the second place along with our allies in order to enjoy this truth today after many sacrifices of our people.
