Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, on the 25th anniversary of Recak's Massacre, has stressed the importance of justice to bring meaning to peace and freedom. She has commemorated the brutal massacre of Albanians by Slobodan Milosevic's regime and thanked former Ambassador William Walker, who was the voice of the victims.
On the 25th anniversary of Recak's massacre, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has paid tribute to the cemetery of the fallen in Recak Massacre, where it is expressed that justice gives meaning to peace and freedom.
She has said Albanians were brutally slaughtered by Slobodan Milosevic's regime, stressing that former Ambassador William Walker had become the voice of Kosovo victims.
“25 years after the Recak Massacre war. We are here not only to honour the victims of Milosevic's genocide regime but to repeat our call for justice. Justice gives meaning to peace, freedom, and reconciliation. Even today, we are here to honour the fallen, all those who were brutally slaughtered, committing crimes against humanity by the Milosevic regime. We're here to thank Ambassador William Walker again for becoming the voice of the victim when at some point we had a voice. When we needed the protection of the democratic world, Recak's massacre internationalised the Kosovo issue”, it said, broadcast EO.
President Osmani has stressed that Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq's regime, except denying the massacre, “is arresting and torturing those who lay flowers on the graves of war children
