Official NATO with frightening Western calls: Prepare for everything, including war

NATO Military Committee Chairman Rob Bauer on Wednesday called on public and private sectors in the West to prepare for a period in which everything can happen at any time, including the war. “We need a transformation of NATO during wartime”, the Dutch Admiral said at the opening [...]
“We need a transformation of NATO during wartime”, the Dutch Admiral said at the opening of the two-day NATO defence ministers' two-day meeting in Brussels.
He stressed that governments and companies from that alliance lived in an era where everything was abundant, everything was predictable and could be controlled.
“Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, NATO members have had to adapt to a “an era in which everything can happen at any time, an era in which we should expect the unexpected, in which we should focus on efficiency in order to be truly effective”, Bauer said.
Admiral spoke at a time when military aid to Ukraine from the US and the European Union has either been blocked or slowed by political disputes. He promised that NATO's aid to Ukraine would continue.
“Ukrainian will have our support every day because the results of this war will decide on the fate of the world”, he said, according to Jutarnji.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Tuesday warned the West not to hesitate to help Kiev, because it could last the war for years.
