During the last hours at Emergency Services near the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (QKUK) have been addressed 21 cases of injury from the outbreak of pyrotechnic vehicles.
Two of them are in more serious condition, because one patient has been injured by a blind bullet, while the other has received injuries from the use of fireworks, Kosovas reports.
One of the injured is continuing treatment at the Plastic Surgery Clinic, and another in the Offhamology. Meanwhile, the other injured have been released home after treatment.
Thus has Emergency Service Director Naser Syla announced that the age of patients who have suffered injuries as a trigger for the use of pyrotechnics begins from a six-year-old to an elderly man over 60 years old.
Syla added that over the last 18 hours in the Emergency Service, about 217 patients have been admitted.
Otherwise, Kosovo Police for Security Management during the weather change party has prepared the operational command “The year's end is 2023 and the beginning of 2024” where there is an increase in police presence on the streets and open spaces, in squares and locations where there is a citizens' attendance.
