On this morning we have accepted the information on the suspicious activity of a Nongovernmental Organisation, located in an annex of the Pristina Police Station”, Svechla wrote.
Svecla said the Department of Nongovernmental Organisations within the MPB has confirmed that the organisation in question “Centar za Mir of Toleracic Pristina” has not respected legislation in effect on the functioning of NGOs.
After the raids, it was understood that space was not used at all for the nature of this NGO”, he wrote.
Therefore, says Minister Svecla “we have announced relevant security institutions and it is confirmed that the same has illegal activities which has been proven after the police and Prosecutor's entry into the” facility.
“Such an event among the three highest security institutions of Kosovo, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Chief Prosecutor and the Kosovo Police is extremely suspicious and poses danger to the country's security”, Svecla said.
The Republic of Kosovo is a unitary state with rights and services for all citizens indiscriminately. The time has passed when lawlessness was tolerated in our country”, he concluded.
