The Ministry of Defence supports Kosovo's Security Force to build territory protection capacities in co-ordination with strategic partners, with particular emphasis on the United States of America, in this respect the Government of the Republic of Kosovo with the United States has co-operation programme for direct military purchases with the US through the FMS programme.
