Pristina municipality Chairman Progress Rama has come up with a response regarding his proposal for changing Pristina's municipality property with several parcels of two businessmen, who are also his former clients. He has said the decision on exchange taken by the Capital Assembly and has also received legitimacy from the Ministry of Management of Local Power..
Rama has said reports do not stand that the state's 8 hectares of private owners' property will be stuck to about 20 hectares of the Pristina municipality, but only with a portion of it.

“I want to clarify to the citizens that the decision for exchange from the Capital Assembly, which the decision has also taken on legitimacy from the Ministry of Local Power Management, specifys that the eight-acre property of private owners will be exchanged for a property share of about 20 hectares. Thus, the Assembly decision did not exchange 8 hectares and the entire 20 acres [20 ha] parcel as it was misreported in the media. This share of property assessment, neither I define it as the head of either the Capital Assembly, but defines the Ministry of Finance on the basis of the criteria for assessment of property defined by legislation”, Rama wrote.
He has said the municipality will make the country's execution, given the final assessment it will receive from the Ministry of Finance.
