The European Union's Emisari for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has held its first meeting for this year.
He has travelled to Paris for a meeting with Emmanuel Bonne, French President Emmanuel Macro's Councillor, for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
Lajcak has said he has discussed preparations for the following months about dialogue.
I completed my first 2024 visit to Paris. I had very important and useful meetings in Quai d'Orsey and Élysée to prepare for the coming months. I am grateful for the strong French support for the EU facilitated dialogue and my” work, Lajcak wrote on the X platform Tuesday.
Dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia has led powerful Western states to appoint emissaries for the issue.
Even the leaders of these states are being included to enable a solution to the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
The dialogue process is being accompanied simultaneously by tensions on the ground in the northern part of Kosovo.
Western officials have demanded from Serbia and Kosovo responsibility that the situation not continue.
