Kurti congratulates Xhaferin: A northern Macedonia with Euro-Atlantic orientation away from Moscow fibers is what we want

Talat Xhaferi has been elected prime minister of the North Macedonia Technical Government, becoming the first Albanian to hold the post in this state.

In this case, Xhaferi has also been congratulated by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

A strong Euro-Atlantic orientation Macedonia, a partner of Pristina and the West, and as far away from Moscow and its fibers -- a northern Macedonia that promotes the values of co-existence and fights ethnic discrimination -- is what we want. For these goals and many other co-operations, I am sure we will continue the course of intergovernmental co-operation with counterpart Mr. Xhaferi, as has his predecessor, Mr. Kovachevski, who congratulates him for the values he reflected in his direction.
