Konjufca meets with Austrian ambassador, readiness to strengthen bilateral relations discussed

Through a media communiqué, the Parliament reports that during the Konjufca meeting, it praised excellent bilateral relations and thanked Ambassador Schnetzer for Austria's steadfast support of Kosovo.
“The Speaker of the Parliament stressed that Austria is not only a historicly proven friend state, but also a powerful supporter of Kosovo in all of the challenges and statehood, simultaneously underlining the importance of continuing to support our state on the path to Euro-Atlantic integration and membership in international organisations.”, said in communiqué.
It is also known that at the meeting, views were exchanged both with political developments in the country and the region, where it was addressed with particular emphasis on co-operation under the Western Balkans programme at the Austrian Parliament, with the Kosovo Assembly Administration employees having the opportunity to gain knowledge and become acquainted with Austria's Parliament practices.
“Chairman Konjufca and Ambassador Schnetzer also expressed readiness for strengthening bilateral relations, as well as deepening co-operation in areas and other sectors of common interest between the Republic of Kosovo and Austria”, said further in communiqué.
