Japan is under tsunami alert after quake 7. 6

Japan has issued a tsunami alert after a series of earthquakes Monday, writes Guardian, translates Periscope.

Earthquakes, the largest one of 7.6 magnitudes, have also caused fires and blocked several buildings north of Honshu Island in Japan.

It is still unclear how many people may have been hurt or lost their lives, writes the Associated Press.

Japan's Meterological Agency reports that dozens of earthquakes have occurred on the Japan Sea on the coast of Ishikava. /Periscopi
