Italian soldiers of KFOR's Regional Command have conducted patrols on the border between Kosovo and Serbia.
According to the announcement KFOR has issued, this was done in order to monitor the territory and ensure an adequate security framework.
“KFOR is always committed to supporting peace, co-operation and progress for all people living in Kosovo, as its mandate based on UN Council Resolution 1244 in 1999, contributing to the preservation of a safe and secure environment and freedom of movement for all communities living in Kosovo”, the report said.
