At a meeting between President Vjosa Osmani and Israeli State Ambassador Tamar Ziv, an important step towards deepening relations between the two states -- visa liberalisation for Kosovo citizens has been discussed.

As it becomes known, Ambassador Ziv announced Osmani's compliance with the Israeli Government to approve visa removal for Kosovo citizens, who will soon enjoy freedom of visa-free travel to Israel for tourist purposes.

The respective ministries have already launched procedures for formalising the agreement, and Kosovo citizens will have the opportunity to travel freely to one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region and beyond.

Osmani expressed her gratitude to Ambassador Ziv for this step, which not only facilitates the movement of citizens but also adds confidence and co-operation between the two states.

Meanwhile, in commemoration of Holocaust Day, President Osmani stressed the memory of the victims and Kosovo's commitment to learning from history and fighting hatred and prejudice.

Ambassador Ziv and President Osmani also share information about security developments in Israel and Kosovo, pointing to the continuation and importance of dialogue between the two countries.
