Investigations begin to drop Pristina municipality roof

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina has launched investigations into the case in the neighbourhood “Arberia”, where a girl has been injured as a result of the fall of the Pristina municipality's roof.

The news has confirmed for “Justice Bet“, Laureta Ulaj, spokeswoman for this prosecutor, who said the case has been initiated as “Cause of total risk”.

In this case, we inform you that the State Prosecutor has appeared at the scene of the event along with relevant units, and on the same order the investigation has initially been initiated in the direction of the criminal offence of general danger. The prosecution in co-ordination with the police has started with the undertaking of all necessary investigative actions regarding this case, from which, according to information we have so far, a person (name) has received body injuries”, Ulaj has announced.

Otherwise, police and emergency have confirmed that a girl has suffered injuries and is continuing to be treated at KKUK.

On the other hand, Lulzim Fushtica, director for Security and Emergency in the Pristina municipality, said ahead of the media that at the moment of the roof crash, construction has not been under way at the site.

He said the investigations are under way, but stressed that by the fall of the roof, it allegedly resulted in strong winds.
