Four indictees' hearing postponed for terrorist attacks in the north

Special Prosecutor Africa Shefkiu said it is a fact that some of the subject paperwork is not translated. However, he said that in the wait-day term, the prosecution could translate all paperwork into Serbian language, reports “Justice Battle”.
Pantic, Milenkovic, Vlajiq and Vakiq have appeared before the Constitutional Court in Pristina on charges of terrorist attacks on the offices of the Municipal Election Commission (KKZ) in northern Mitrovica.
Defender of accused Dejan Pantic, lawyer Ljubomir Pantovic has said there are no conditions to hold feasibility sessions, since most of the paperwork are not translated into Serbian language.
I consider that under these circumstances the preparation hearing will be violated today. I propose that today's session be postponed and the prosecution is forced to hand over to the defenders and the accused to the complete paperwork translated into the language the defendants speak, the lawyer said.
Court Chairman Judge Valon Kurtaj has asked the media to be careful not to publish the faces of the accused because of presumption of innocence.

On December 12th 2022, the Constitutional Court in Pristina appointed a month of detention against former Serbian police officer Dejan Pantic, while running December 28th 2022, the Foundation Court in Pristina replaced the detention measure with house arrest.
Pantic had been arrested on December 10th 2022 at the Jarinje border crossing, while his arrest had prompted reactions from the Serbian side, which followed the settlement of barricades at border points. /Betimy for Justice
