Gori has said that for nurses with the new law, additions have been halted, which according to her, is adding to their dissatisfaction every day.
She has stressed that prior to the new year, the state has paid all doctors who don't work in the private sector, and that hasn't happened to nurses.
The dissatisfaction with the nurses every day is growing. With the new wage law coming up with a lot of frustration, one of them has been one that with the collective contract they've been paid a lot, while now it's been removed. Now, before the new year, all doctors who don't work in the private sector have received at least one of them as much motivation as financial means or whatever, as if these nurses are not part of the health system. This has added to their resentments. Most nurses, midwives and other health professionals do not work in private sectors, and it has not been taken into account”, it has indicated.
The race has said the 110-euro coffient is insufficient. According to her, it is unfortunate with the salary the nurses, midwives, and other health professionals receive.
She added that she hopes the government will do a review and intervene in increased salaries for health professionals.
It's a pity, with the salary of nurses, midwives, even health professionals and seeing the price flow what is especially now after pandemic, it's impossible to spend the month. I hope that a review will now be made and there will be an intervention and an improvement in health professionals' salaries”, she said.
According to OIK data, during the year 2023 alone, Oda has issued 713 unantified licenses for nurses, certificates that serve those working abroad.
