Hartwell: Selling rockets for Kosovo, indicator of strong response to all Vucic provocations

For senior researcher at the Centre for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) in Washington, D.C., Leon Hartwell, acceptance of the United States' request of the Government for the sale of anti-tank missiles, Yavelin, is an indication of a strong response to all possible provocations from the regime [...]
This movement, which Hartwell calls <x0-strategic>”, highlights the US commitment to strengthening Kosovo's defence position.
“Recognition of missile sales serves as an unmistakable indication that America is ready to strengthen Kosovo's long-term defence capabilities, as well as the ability to protect sovereignty and territorial integrity”, he has said in an interview for the Voice of America's edition in the Serbian language.
Asked about the phase what is the process of adopting US missile sales for Kosovo in this case a senior associate in the IDEAS-based Tenk Tank University's prestigious London School of Economics (LSE) believes the weapons sale procedure will go quite well.
“tactly based on publicly available information, both the State Department and the National Security Secretariat have approved the sale of the Yavelin missiles. If there is no opposition in Congress, the process goes through the treaty negotiations and, in the end, we have the handover phase”.
The US announced on January 11th that it has accepted Kosovo's request to purchase 246 antiaircraft systems Yavelin, produced in the US.
The US State Department on the other hand confirmed that their purchase would cost Kosovo $75m.
