So confirmed European Commission spokeswoman Ana Pisonero.

In response to T7, the EC reportedly has seen reports concerning Mr. Sandulovic is closely following the case in question.

We are closely following this case and are in contact with relevant authorities and interested parties. It's important that we have complete clarity of the facts about this case. We expect the rights of all citizens to be respected. Any ban should be based on the reasonable suspicion of conducting a criminal offence, and any credible allegations of violence should be effectively followed by relevant competent authorities”, the EC response said.

Sandulovici was arrested Wednesday by Serbia's Intelligence Agency (BIA). According to the family and its lawyer, the reason was a post on X by paying tribute to the Jashari family cemetery in Prekaz, stressing the fact that he is the only politician from Serbia to honour innocent Albanian victims.

Members of Republika Srpska Party President Nikola Sandulovic have said he was brutally beaten by Serbian secret police in the BIA building.

After Sandulovic's beating, British MP Alicia Kearns has also reacted. She has expressed concern for the security and health of the Serbian politician.

We remember that this is not the first time that Serbian politician is on the verge of life and death. It was poisoned once again, two years ago it appears to be the preferred liquidation tool in the East, Novichok, while surviving the two explosives.

Otherwise, Sandulovic has called Serbian President Alexnadar Vuciqi a war criminal and has ordered that before going to Kosovo, he should apologize and accept the crime committed in Recak.
