Unions and employees of the company Operator System, Transition and Kosovo Energy Market (KOSTT) have protested before the company's facility today. They have expressed their many frustrations with the Koon Company through this protest STT while these requests have been sent to the chief executive and board of company directors.
KEK Union Chairman Nedzat Llumnica said that except wages have not been raised since 2014, workers today are having a pay gap. He added that workers are considered a tool of work rather than a human being.
On the other hand, the chairman of the COSTT employee union, Sedin Izmacu, stressed that workers' demands are the annulment of escalating growth, reduction among salaries, implementation of labour contracts without actual systematisation, a 20 per cent wage increase for non-management staff, and involvement of union in all important decisions for workers.
He added that if there is no agreement by February 10th, then trade unions will continue with further radical steps.
