A total of 290 cases have been recorded at the Emergency Clinic of the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo over the past 24 hours.
25 of them are injured by pyrotechnics.
These cases have been discussed by the caregiver at QKUK, Avdush Baygora.
Bigora said a child has been amputated with two fingers, while a patient injured by the blind bullet, who has been subjected to surgery and is currently being treated in the surgery.

“During 24 hours at the Emergency Center so far have asked for a total of 290 patients, considering 250 were last night, and today's shift of 50 patients have sought help. Of them, 25 patients have been injured by pyrotechnics and injuries have been of extremeity, where a child with two amputated left fingers needs to be singled out, we have a blind - bullet patient, the patient is subject to surgery, which is currently in Kyrgyzstan. Also, there have been cases of eye injury, a total of 3-4 patients, from whom two as a result of the deploration of the blasting machine, we have the penetrate of the eye's framework”, Baygora said.
Doctor Bajgora pointed out that this year the awareness of citizens is much greater than the previous years, as they have a smaller number of patients injured by pyrotechnics.
“As for the disaster in traffic there has been little and the patient situation is stable. I could point out that mass awareness, is much bigger than the previous years, and we have an extremely small number compared to the previous years, of patients injured by pyrotechnic tools”, he added.
According to him, family members need to be open - eyed, especially in their children to avoid contact with pyrotechnics.
We always appeal to family members in the care of family, I can say that their eyes are open, especially to children not to let in contact with pyrotechnics, which may also be fatally and especially with injuries to the extreme and injuries to the eyes”, he has declared.
The age of the injured is different, ranging from children to 60 years old.
